Calibrating a digital phm meter is a fundamental part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.experimentoscientificos.es\/en\/ph\/\">pH measurement<\/a>. If the meter is not calibrated, the measurements will be confusing and will be useless. Once calibrated, measuring with a digital phmeter is really easy. The batteries are type G13 as you can see in the picture. At the top you have the on\/off button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1756 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.experimentoscientificos.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_3692-300x169.png\" alt=\"pilas phmetro digital\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.experimentoscientificos.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_3692-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.experimentoscientificos.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_3692.png 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. Take the sachet with the powder with the ph 6.86 and place it in a beaker with 250 ml of distilled water and dissolve it well. Put the ph meter in the beaker with the water. The pH of the beaker is 6.86. Repeat the operation with the sachet for pH 4.01 and adjust the pH at that point to 4.01.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>PHMETER MAINTENANCE<\/h2>\n<p>Between measurements it is very important to clean and dry the phmeter thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p>It is advisable to calibrate the pH regularly to ensure that the measurement is correct.
