One of the most sought-after terms is alcohol density.

The density is the measure of the unit mass in the unit volume. To define the alcohol densityWhen we talk about alcohol we refer to a group of organic compounds that have carbon in their structure and some of the hydrogen ions are replaced by the -OH group. We have alcohols of different chain sizes. For example, methyl alcohol or methanol (which comes from methane), ethyl alcohol or ethanol and propyl alcohol or propanol, which comes from propane. Alcohols have the chemical formula CnH2n+1OH and therefore, depending on which alcohol we are talking about, it will have one density or another.

The alcohol we most commonly use is the ETHANOL, o ethyl alcohol, of formula CH3-CH2-OH. It is the alcohol we have at home and is also widely used in industry. The density of ethanol is 789 kg/m³or 0,789Kg/L. Ethanol is therefore lighter than water and would float on water. See densities of other products.

The chemical compound methanol, o methyl alcoholis in simpler alcohol. At room temperature it is a light liquid, which is used as an antifreeze in cars, dye solvent and fuel. Its chemical formula is CH3OH. The methane density is 791.8Kg/m³, o 0,79Kg/L.

One of the most searched terms is the density of alcohol. WHAT IS THE DENSITY OF ALCOHOL Density is the measure of the unit of mass in the unit of volume. To define the density of alcohol, we must bear in mind that when we talk about alcohol we are referring to a set of compounds [...].

ETHANOL DENSITY
