The components that give minerals their fluorescence are:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fluorite:<\/strong>\u00a0It is the basis for most fluorescent elements, with different colour variations in radiation, such as green, blue or pink.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calcite:<\/strong>\u00a0Similar properties to fluorite, hence its properties. It tends to emit light in pink colours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uranium:<\/strong>\u00a0This mineral has a greenish radiation due to the fact that it is a radioactive material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span id=\"ORGANISMOS_BIOFLUORESCENTES\">BIOFLUORESCENT ORGANISMS<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We also find biofluorescent living elements. For example\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alquera.com\/p\/fluoresceina-sodica\/\">sodium fluorescein<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alquera.com\/p\/rodamina-b\/\">rhodamine<\/a>\u00a0are materials commonly used to dye water and other objects by making them fluorescent. Fluorescent tracers have their main application in hydrology for water flow monitoring, pipe leak detection...<\/p>\n<p>These materials come in powder form and are added to water to make it fluoresce.
